As the production and filming work on Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel is officially underway in Los Angeles, a lot of information and on-set pictures of the upcoming film have started pouring in. Some new pictures from the film’s set show Brie Larson and Lashana Lynch rocking the classic 90’s fashion.
In one of the pictures, Larson can be seen wearing a classic United States Air Force shirt, while in another picture, she is donning a Guns N Roses sleeveless top. We also have a picture of Lynch wearing a t-shirt from Van Halen’s Tour of the World and 90s-style jeans. You can check out the pictures below.
Brie Larson will be seen portraying the titular character of Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel in the female superhero film. The role played by Lynch in the solo film has yet been confirmed at this time. The only thing known about Lynch’s character is that it will be “contemporary of Carol Danvers.” It is speculated that Lynch’s character could be of Monica Rambeau. Among others, Ben Mendelsohn has been revealed to be playing the main antagonist in the film. Hopefully, we will get to know more about Captain Marvel cast soon.
Set in the 1990s, Captain Marvel will follow Carol Danvers’ journey as she turns into a female superhero from an Air Force pilot who gains extreme powers after her DNA gets mixed with that of a Kree alien in an accident.
Pursue News also exclusively reported that the production team will shoot Captain Marvel in Fresno for three days from April 9-April 11.
Directed by Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Samuel L. Jackson, Lashana Lynch, Lee Pace, Djimon Hounsou, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Clark Gregg, Jude Law, Rune Temte, and McKenna Grace. The film will debut in theatres on March 8, 2019.
