Captain Marvel: Chris Evans & Other MCU Actors React To First Trailer

After months of waiting, the first full Captain Marvel trailer finally dropped on Tuesday morning teasing fans what they can expect from the highly awaited Marvel Studios film. The unique thing about the upcoming film is that it will introduce audiences to MCU’s very first female superhero, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. Well, it’s also the first MCU movie to be directed by a female director, Anna Boden, who is co-directing it along with Ryan Fleck.

Soon after the trailer reveal, a number of actors associated with the Marvel Cinematic Universe took to social media to post their reactions to the new superhero movie trailer. The long list includes Captain America star Chris Evans, Thor: Ragnarok actress Tessa Thompson, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 actress Pom Klementieff, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D actor Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Smith. Well, the best thing is that the Captain Marvel actress Brie Larson replied to almost all the tweets.

Larson even posted a picture of her superhero avatar especially for her mother along with a sweet caption that read, “Look, Mom, I’m a superhero. #CaptainMarvel”. You can check out all the tweets below.

Marvel Studios’ first female-led superhero movie comes almost two years after Warner Bros. Pictures released their first female-led superhero movie, Wonder Woman. It is believed that Wonder Woman’s box-office success convinced Marvel to roll out the Captain Marvel movie.

The Marvel female superhero was initially planned to debut in Anthony and Joe Russos’ Avengers: Infinity War. But then the makers felt that the film with a host of MCU characters already won’t do justice to the new character. So, it was decided to introduce Captain Marvel in her own solo film. The pilot-turned-superhero will also feature in Avengers 4 to help the surviving Avengers take down the Mad Titan Thanos.

Captain Marvel will hit theatres on March 8, 2019, while, Avengers 4 will release on May 3, 2019.
