With Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel filming and production work underway in California, a lot of on-set pictures and videos are expected to pop up online. A brand new video clip has surfaced online which shows Brie Larson as Carol Danvers in the female superhero black-and-Kree green flight costume.
The video shows Larson in a bit of rush, passing pedestrians as she attempts to get somewhere quickly. You can check out the clip below. The film’s production work is expected to continue throughout the year and wrap up in February 2019.
Recently, Instagram user Nicki Robbins posted a video of Brie Larson in the Captain Marvel suit and her stunt double getting ready to film a scene. The video clip only showed the actor and production artists preparing to film a scene. It didn’t give any other clues as to what the scene is all about.
In an interview with Collider, Captain Marvel writer Geneva Robertson-Dworet talked about the character of Carol Danvers and why the upcoming superhero solo movie will set itself apart from other MCU movies.
“Oh, man, I love that character!” Robertson-Dworet said. “We really were bringing so much of what was already in the comics onto the screen, it felt like, in terms of the amazing character who’s so funny and sassy and talks back, and she’s fearless. I love that Carol Danvers is so funny. She has a blast when she kicks ass. Those comics are amazing! It’s an amazing world and sandbox to play in. You’re working with incredibly creative people, every day. I had a total dream experience.”
Talking about Captain Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War debut, there are some reports which suggest that the female superhero will show up in the upcoming Marvel film. While some others are claiming that she won’t be making it to the already crowded superhero movie. It remains to be seen whether or not fans will get to see a glimpse of Captain Marvel in the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War.
Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel will release in theatres on March 8th, 2019.
