Actor Chris Hemsworth has been awarded the Teen Choice Award in the Sci-Fi Movie Actor category for his role as the god of thunder in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok. As the actor couldn’t personally make it to the award show to receive the award, he did send a thank you video message to Choicey, the Teen Choice Awards mascot. The message surprisingly shows the actor trying to let fans in on some Avengers 4 spoilers.
Hemsworth wanted to thank his fans for the award by spoiling a couple of Avengers 4 spoilers. But, unfortunately, his connection gets interrupted and there was nothing new that fans got to know from the video message. In the clip, he tried to show Thor’s new weapon and reveal Avengers 4 actual title. He ended the video with a plea calling out Thanos to stop killing his friends. You can check out the clip below.
The Thor actor recently celebrated his 35th birthday on Saturday, August 11. He shared a picture of his birthday cake on Instagram and revealed in the caption that he later ended up with icing all over his face. He joked that he might now play Deadpool after his son slammed his face into the flaming candles of the cake.
“Immediately after this shot was taken my son viciously attacked me from behind (due to his ninja training) and slammed my face into the flaming candles,” Hemsworth captioned the picture. “I’ll now be playing Deadpool if @vancityreynolds (Ryan Reynolds) pulls the pin.”
In other news, actors Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pine seem unlikely to return for Star Trek 4. According to a new report coming from Hollywood Reporter, the actors have threatened to walk away from 2016’s Star Trek: Beyond sequel film as they are not happy with their deal with the companies making the new installment, Paramount Pictures, and Skydance Media. As per the report, the studios are forcing them to take pay cuts due to budget constraints.
Fans will next see their favorite Thor in action in the yet-to-be-titled Avengers 4 which is set to release next year.
