‘Constantine’ Animated Series Will Premiere This March, Screening Details

The wait is over! Fans of DC Comic character John Constantine will be able to watch the time-traveling superhero in action in his standalone animated series soon. The series has finally got the premiere date and it won’t be too long before it begins streaming on CW Seed.

According to CBR, the big announcement was made during the Q&A session at Anaheim’s WonderCon 2018. Warner Bros. Television and Warner Bros. Animation announced their plans when it was revealed that the animated series will debut on March 24 on streaming service CW Seed. On the same day, the convention will be hosting the world premiere screening of the series.

Constantine is an animated web series set in the fictional universe, Arrowverse. It is the continuation of the live-action series of the same name starring Matt Ryan in titular role for NBC. The series aired from Oct. 2014 to Feb. 2015 before getting canceled

Since then, the character also went on to make an appearance in The CW’s Arrow. The character made quite an impression on fans which also played a convincing factor for the network to greenlight the animated series.

Matt Ryan will go on to reprise the role of his fan-favourite character and voice the character in the animated series.

In other news, Matt Ryan’s Constantine is confirmed to return Legends of Tomorrow for the Season 3 finale airing on April 9. He recently made an appearance during the Legends midseason premiere and he is slated to appear in the fifteenth episode of the season, titled “Necromancing the Stone.”

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs Mondays on The CW. Constantine will debut March 24 on CW Seed. Stay tuned for more updates and information.
