Replying to a fan’s question on who exactly could be the creator of rocket, director James Gunn replied that the details of the creator is hidden somewhere in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
Rocket Raccoon, who turned out to be the favorite genetically engineered raccoon of moviegoers was first introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy. A lot of new characters were introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy, but the one who struck a chord with fans was Rocket Raccoon, who stole many scenes with his wild attitude. The plot revolved around outsiders learning to find a family in each other. In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Rocket wonders whether he even deserves a place in the universe, now that he has found one.
While we all know that Creator Bill Mantlo and artist Keith Giffen were the ones to create the adorable Rocket Raccoon, fans have been wondering about the character in the Marvel fictional world who experimented and made Racoon.
Earlier this morning, a fan had a question about the foul-mouthed space rodent. He tweeted, “So… Who do you think probably created rocket, in all his misery? If you were to have any character, even from the comics, that is.” Gunn replied, “Believe it or not if you’re really really really smart this is hidden somewhere in Vol 2.”
This statement by James Gunn got twitteratti all excited with fans speculating who the character might be. While one user proclaimed that the creator of Rocket was Dr. Mengele, another user said it must be David Hasselhoff. The other names that came out were Taserface, Rick and Morty, The Sovereign, and Kree Supreme Intelligence among others.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which released on April 19, 2017 was a huge box office hit, having crossed $500 million at the worldwide box office barely a month after its release.

Was it the moment when Dr. Rodentia said “hello, I am a crazy scientist. I made Rocket.” And then pointed at Rocket and then Rocket said “oh hey. Everyone, that’s the guy who made me.”
