This Thanksgiving, fans will see Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed fight for more than just a title in Creed 2. The sequel will show Donnie go up against Viktor Drago, the son of the man who is responsible for killing his father, Apollo Creed.

Warner Bros. has released two new stills from Creed 2 which shows Jordan as Adonis Creed in the ring. From what we got to see in the featurette and trailer, this still seems to be from his final fight with Ivan Drago. And it is possible that Donnie fights him twice in this movie.

In one of the stills, readers can also notice that Donnie currently seems to hold the title for the light heavyweight as the person behind him can be seen holding the belt.

In the first Creed movie, Donnie fights Ricky Conlon and loses against him via split decision. But Donnie wins Conlon’s respect who also says he’s the future of this division. And that seems to have turned out to be true as Donnie seems to be the current champion.

While Donnie has Rocky beside him Viktor has his father Ivan Drago training him for what seems to be the fight of the century. A recently released featurette titled the ‘Sins of Our Fathers” shows Ivan have his first contact with Rocky at his restaurant.

After losing the fight against Balboa in Rocky IV, Ivan seems to have lost everything he once had which he reveals to Rocky himself in the featurette. As Donnie fights for revenge, Ivan and Viktor are fighting to regain their pride and respect which has been lost.

Creed 2 will hit theatres on November 21, 2018.
