Daredevil will reportedly appear in 4 MCU projects including Spider-Man: No Way Home

It looks like Daredevil will make a comeback in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home. Furthermore, recent rumors indicate Charlie Cox is due to make four appearances in Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 starting with Tom Holland’s Spidey featuring threequel.

Marvel’s morally grounded vigilante has been a no-show since last appearing in Netflix’s season 3. But fans have been hoping to see Matt Murdock’s return especially since news floated around stating the star filmed scenes for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Added, a recent report from an online scoop-breaking account implied a Daredevil reboot is in development at Marvel Studios.

The new rumor goes a step beyond to claim Cox’s Daredevil is “locked” to play as Daredevil in four Marvel Studios projects namely She-Hulk, Echo, Spider-Man: No Way Home and drum rolls.. “his own solo outing.” Readers can check out the details in the tweet below.

It’s unclear if Daredevil’s standalone project would be a Disney Plus series or a feature film. However, other rumors suggest it’s a “soft-rebooted” series featuring Matt Murdock. In any case, it seems the wait won’t be long considering the third Spider-Man film in MCU will arrive in December. Stills, fans are urged to take this new with a grain of salt till official confirmation.

It will be interesting to see Daredevil appear in Disney Plus shows such as She-Hulk and Echo. In Marvel comics, Echo’s relationship with Kingpin made her vital to Daredevil’s arc. Also, Daredevil has gone against Echo on several occasions and though it hasn’t shown her as a true top-tier hero, it’s looking increasingly likely the Disney Plus series will go the extra mile to showcase a more powerful and unique character.

In more spidey news, the latest multiverse dissent among fans since the last trailer drop has prompted questions of whether Vincent D’Onofrio could also return to MCU. The 62-year-old actor has insisted he is not part of the threequel but remains hopeful and continues to show his love for upcoming Marvel shows such as Hawkeye.

All rumors will soon come to rest when Spider-Man: No Way Home hits theatres on December 17th.
