DC’s Live-Action Titans Series To Drop All 13 Episodes At Once

DC’s live-action Titans series is the first of a handful that will get launched on DC’s forthcoming streaming service, DC Universe. According to a report coming from Bleeding Cool, DC will follow Netflix style of distribution for Titans as it will drop all the 13-episodes of the new series at once rather than going by the traditional approach of releasing one episode per week.

So, this means DC Universe users will be able to binge all 13-episodes of the highly anticipated Titans series at once when it premieres later this year on DC Comics video-on-demand service.

The live-action web series will follow the adventures of four young superheroes, Dick Grayson/ Robin, Garfield Logan/ Beast Boy, Koriand’r/Starfire, and Raven recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. As per the synopsis, the web series will see Dick Grayson taking the lead and creating the superhero team called Titans.

The first trailer for Titans which was released last week got mixed reactions from fans. While some liked Brenton Thwaites’ portrayal of Dick Grayson, others didn’t seem to like the trailer at all.

The most interesting thing about the trailer is that it revealed a completely unexpected darker side of Dick Grayson, the erstwhile Robin, who is considered as one of Batman’s most trusted friends.

The trailer featured Robin (Brenton Thwaites) growling “F*** Batman” as he took on a group of criminals who asked for his former partner in crime, Batman. Well, Robin using the F-word for Batman is something that nobody would ever expect. Fans will have to wait for the web series to launch to learn the reason behind Robin’s grittiness.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Teagan Croft as Raven, Anna Diop as Starfire, Lindsey Gort as Detective Amy Rohrbach, Minka Kelly as Dove, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, and Ryan Potter as Beast Boy.

Titans airdate is yet to be announced.
