New Deadpool 2 set photos and videos have once again emerged online thanks to fans in Vancouver. While the crew continues to film the same DMC transportation scene, few images of an ice cream van have revealed a major Easter egg from the film.
An ice cream van named “Pryor’s Treats” was spotted during the filming on Saturday. Later on, the vehicle was also seen being transported along with a DMC humvee.
For those unaware, Pryor is the maiden name of Cable’s mother. The character is known as Madelyne Pryor, a clone of Jean Grey created by Sinister in Marvel Comics. It looks like the Ice cream van was indeed an Easter egg planted for the fans.
As Deadpool 2 would be Cable’s first appearance, it is likely that the film will through some light on the character’s origin. Furthermore, the Easter egg on the vehicle also suggests that the sequel would provide details such as the birth of Nathan Summers in the future.
Another truck was also spotted with the imprints saying “PhoenixMoving.” It’s possible that it could also be an Easter egg making reference to Phoenix a.k.a one of the scariest versions of Jean Grey.
Some of the other visuals from the location have also given another look at the soldiers working for the Mutant Division. A set of photos revealed a Mutant hunter close to a DMC humvee.
Other set images and videos also revealed Cable chasing after the enemy on foot. Fans can check out all clips and photos below.
Deadpool 2 is scheduled to hit the big screens on June 1st next year. The film introduces Domino played by Zazie Beetz and Cable played by Josh Brolin.
