Deadpool 2 New Trailer: Fans React To Cable Reveal & Its Jab At DCEU

20th Century fox shocked fans earlier by releasing the much awaited new trailer for Deadpool 2. As expected, the trailer has all the humor and also throws a jab at Warner Bros. DCEU.

The trailer begins by introducing Josh Brolin’s Cable. but the VFX team seems to have rushed a bit on their part as the character is hilariously introduced with his left hand still covered in green, indicating its incomplete work.

The Merc with a Mouth is quick to point out the flaw and clearly isn’t taking the news lightly. “What in the actual ass? Why are the visual effects not done? It’s a meal arm. It’s not like we’re trying to remove a mustache,” says Deadpool.

Fans wouldn’t have expected that jab at DCEU’s Justice League for the controversial mess up of Henry Cavill’s face during the CGI removal of his mustache. Nonetheless, it does well in assuring the audience that the film will have more of its unexpected humor.

This isn’t the first time Deadpool has mocked DCEU. In the comics, the Merc with a mouth has thrown shades at Batman v Superman’s Martha scene several times.

Post the brief introduction, Cable is shown going up against a pack of guards holding their guard shield with a white ‘DMC’ sign on them. For those unaware, they are none other than the Mutant Response Division organization that hunt down and capture dangerous mutants.

Fans that have been following Deadpool 2’s filming in Vancouver would remember the large DMC vehicle revealed at 1:35. It has been speculated that the vehicle could be carrying mutant prisoners.

The trailer also gives brief screen time to other characters such as Domino, Weasel, Copycat. Fans will get a glimpse of Negasonic Teenage Warhead using her superhero ability.

Deadpool 2 hits theaters on June 1st, 2018. Check out the trailer below.
