‘Deadpool 2’: Set Clips & Photos Reveal Cable Filming Stunt Scenes

Earlier on Monday, Ryan Reynolds shared the first look at Josh Brolin as Cable from Deadpool 2. Although the character doesn’t look as bulky as he’s portrayed in the comics, the facial structure seems accurate to the books.

It looks like the official first look was shared to give the best impression of the character before photographers captured images of Brolin as Cable on set. As expected, the event did occur during the filming at Vancouver.

New photos and videos from Deadpool 2 set have surfaced online. Courtesy to YVR shoots, The images have revealed Brolin wearing his Cable Costume. Moreover, the actor’s stunt double was also spotted performing stunt scenes.

A closer look at the images and fans can notice that one side of Cable’s arm is CGI. That will be the part which will be shown as a Cybernetic arm. In the comics, the mechanical side of his body has been shown to be capable of lifting several tons.

Zazie Beetz’s stunt double was also spotted wearing the Domino costume on a superbike performing her part of stunts. It looks like the anti-hero will also get to be part of an action sequence that involves Cable. Earlier, Reynolds also shared the first look at the female character on Twitter.

Another set clip revealed a huge vehicle smashing through other props. Photos captured during the filming gave a closer look at the heavily armored vehicle. Fans can check it out below.

Deadpool 2 is scheduled to release on June 1st, 2018. Keep an eye out for more set photos and videos as production is still ongoing in Vancouver.
