Deadpool 3 fans’ desire to see Ben Affleck‘s Daredevil and Jennifer Garner‘s Elektra reunion may just remain a pipe dream after all going by a new update. The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen was speculated to have a cameo in the Ryan Reynolds starrer threequel after the former DCEU’s Batman actor was spotted on the Marvel Studios set.
The rumors circulating around Deadpool 3 more or less indicate the filmmakers are working on another multiverse cameo galore – much on the lines of Doctor Strange 2. A recent scooper claimed Kidpool was another addition to the Deadpool Corps and Ryan Reynolds’ cryptic response has fans convinced The Adam Project star Walker Scobell would portray the younger Wade Wilson.
Since set photos indicated Deadpool 3 could be adapting the famous Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe comic storyline to pull off a “Deadpool Kills Fox Marvel Universe” – earlier rumors were expected to be true. In fact, scoopers like MTTSH have assured Magneto, Professor X, Jean Grey & several other X-Men cameos though the Scarlet Witch’s appearance was also dismissed.
Similarly, it’s been confirmed Ben Affleck’s Daredevil will not be part of Deadpool 3. According to insider KC Walsh, Affleck declined an offer to portray the blind Matt Murdock in the 2003 Marvel film. Apparently, The Batman actor was just on the set to “visit Garner and his kids”.

Marvel is reportedly interested in further exploring Earth-838 in ‘DEADPOOL 3’.
The film would showcase how the events of ‘DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS’ left that universe as a dystopian future following the death of the Illuminati.

Multiverse Marvel characters expected to appear in Deadpool 3
Anticipation for Deadpool 3 skyrocketed when fans learned of the possibility of multiverse variants of the merc with a mouth. So far, Lady Deadpool & Headpool are rumored to appear at some point. But Earth-838 from Multiverse of Madness will reportedly be fleshed out addressing the aftermath of the Illuminati’s death which leads to a dystopian future.
The involvement of Loki’s TVA & Miss Minutes could signal more yet-to-be-revealed Marvel cameos. Early insider info from DanielRPK claimed Ryan Reynolds was interested in exploring the 2005 Fantastic Four as well but no concrete evidence has surfaced on social media so far.
The third installment is yet to complete production since the cast & crew were forced to halt in solidarity with the Actors Strike. However, it was reported the threequel was close to completion so it appears the project’s premiere date may not be affected by the ongoing strike in Hollywood.
Deadpool 3 is set to grace theaters on May 3, 2024.
