Avengers: Endgame is barely a few weeks away from its worldwide release but that’s still not stopping fans from trying to get some details on the film’s plot. Recently, Director Joe Russo was asked a similar ‘plot-spoiling’ question regarding the movie during his appearance in Mumbai, India for the Joe Russo Fan event.
Pursue News was in attendance of the event and during the press conference, Russo was asked if after Avengers: Endgame, fans will ever get to see the original six Avengers or if the studio plans on going ahead with new characters and new storylines after the final film from phase 3 of the MCU which would wrap up the 22 movie arc. Though the director started by saying that he doesn’t plan on talking about the plot of Endgame, he still did give away a bit of tease for fans.
“Infinity War was told from the point of view of Thanos and Endgame is not. So take from that what you will. That’s as much as I can give you on that question.” said Russo. You can check out the video below.
Prior to this question at the press conference, the director did say that the movie would concentrate on the original six Avengers and on closing their chapters with this final film from phase 3 of the MCU.
“We are focusing on the original six Avengers and we are closing the book on those characters and the story that’s been told about them for the last decade,” explained Russo. “We spent a lot of time and energy and thought with the writers, Christopher Markus and Steph McFeely in really trying to deliver a powerful, emotionally, impactful ending and hopefully we delivered that.”

It is still unknown if this would mean the death of a few original characters. Nothing is certain till fans’ themselves find out the studios’ plan for the next phase in Avengers: Endgame.
Russo was asked quite a few questions related to the plot of the movie. Some even hit the director with questions related to multiverse theories and if Fantastic Four’s Reed Richards would be introduced in Endgame.
So far, the trailers released for Avengers: Endgame have managed to hype the fandom but also haven’t given away any plot points. Recently at Cinemacon, the attendees were shown new footage from the movie. Though the footage wasn’t released on the internet, fans can head over to Comicbook.com to read the footage’s description but have been warned of potential spoilers.
Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 25.
