Disney is embracing this Chinese New Year by releasing special posters for Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel and more. The giant corporation/studio released posters which are specially designed and have a Chinese vibe to cater to its audience in China.
Disney gave the same treatment for its other upcoming line-ups such as Dumbo, Aladdin Remake, Toy Story 4, Frozen 2 and The Lion King. You can check it out below (via Comicbook).
The posters may have missed the eyes of many Marvel fans since the Avengers: Endgame TV spot released during the Super Bowl had got most of the attention. Though there wasn’t much to take from its footage, it still ended up gain massive traction and created enough buzz during Super Bowl. You can watch the TV spot below.
Its been a win-win for Disney during this Super Bowl as the studio also released new footage for Captain Marvel and Toy Story 4. From the looks of it, the studio might manage to break its 2018 earnings record of making $7.33 billion globally. Avengers: Infinity War did most of the heavy lifting crossing $2 billion with its earnings worldwide with Black Panther and Incredibles 2‘s earnings also playing a vital role.
Going by the sheer hype and Marvel Studios’ ensemble movies’ capacity in making the big bucks at the box office, 2019 might yet again be a big year for Disney in earning billions thanks to the upcoming Avengers: Endgame.
In other news, Recently, The Russo Brothers also reacted to the Avengers: Endgame hype with a hilarious response of their own. The directors’ twitter account shared a still of a birthday cake with the Avengers: Infinity War poster. but the poster was edited to remove every characters’ head and replace them with the face of Anthony Russo celebrating his birthday which was on the same day as the Endgame TV spot was released.
Avengers: Endgame is set to hit theaters on April 26 while Captain Marvel will be releasing on March 8.
