Doctor Strange 2 may finally introduce the main man from the first family of Marvel Universe. And if the leak is true, it won’t be as a variant but as canon to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s main timeline.
Warning: Potential spoilers to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
A new report from a credible insider indicates the arrival of Mr. Fantastic, though there’s currently no information on who will portray the character. Nonetheless, Marvel’s smartest scientist will later have a full-fledged appearance in the Fantastic Four reboot project directed by Jon Watts.
It seems like Doctor Strange 2 will indeed be a multiverse of Madness as ongoing rampant rumors online claim multiple cameos in the likes of an Iron Man variant, possibly played by Tom Cruise, Jon Krasinski as Captain America and more. However, the inside info from RPK News suggests the introduction of Marvel Cinematic Universe’ version of Dr. Reed Richards as a cameo.
It will be interesting if Mister Fantastic lock horn (intellectually) with Benedict Cumberbatch‘s Sorcerer Supreme. Readers can check the report out below.
Casting for MCU’s Fantastic Four reportedly began in early January. And though fans have long campaigned for A Quiet Place stars Krasinski and Emily Blunt for the roles of Reed Richards and Sue Storm. It’s unclear if either were approached for the Marvel roles.
Meanwhile, post-production is underway for Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness and in fact, composer Danny Elfman also offered a glimpse at the score work from his sound studio.
Directed by Sam Raimi, Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness also stars Benedict Wong (Wong), Xochitl Gomez (America Chavez), Elizabeth Olsen reprising as Wanda, Rachel McAdams returning as Christine Palmer and Chiwetel Ejiofor returning from the first installment as Baron Mordo.
Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness arrives on May 06, 2022. Fantastic Four reboot does not have a release date yet.
