Earlier this month, Chadwick Boseman joined the Avengers: Infinity War cast on set to film for his role as Black Panther. Recently, another actor has flown to Atlanta to be part of the biggest superhero film.
It has been revealed that Benedict Cumberbatch has arrived on the set of Avengers: Infinity War to play his part as Doctor Strange. The news comes from the actor’s movement coach Jay Funk who had earlier revealed that he would be traveling to Atlanta as well.
Several early tweets from Funk teased that Cumberbatch would soon begin filming for Avengers: Infinity War. Finally, a recent tweet by the movement coach has confirmed that Doctor Strange is on set shooting for the MCU film.
Fans are quite excited to hear the news as Doctor Strange plays a significant role in Avengers: Infinity War. Fans will know more about how the superhero is a powerful ally in the fight against Thanos on May 4th, 2018.
Fans will also get to see Doctor Strange in action later this year in November. The MCU superhero makes a cameo appearance in Thor: Ragnarok when the God of Earth makes a visit to planet Earth. Earlier this year, Cumberbatch’s appearance in the Asgardian movie was confirmed in Doctor Strange’s post-credits.
Another character from Black Panther’s Wakanda was also recently confirmed for Avengers: Infinity War. Actress Danai Gurira will reprise her role as Okoye in the MCU film.
The hype for Avengers: Infinity War continues as more news and set images hit the internet. Recently, The Russo Brother also shared a mysterious photo from the set. Although it fails to say anything about the film’s plot, it assures fans that the film crew is progressing well.
