Don’t Rule Out Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin Appearing In A Spider-Movie Just Yet

Actor Vincent D’Onofrio has long been portraying the role of Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in the Daredevil series. Both critics, as well as fans, have loved and praised the actor’s performance as the villain on the Netflix series. Well, now it seems D’Onofrio is willing to play Kingpin in another Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise.

When a Twitter user recently wailed about the fact that D’Onofrio’s Kingpin probably might never appear in a Spider-Man movie as there’s no crossover between Marvel TV and Marvel Studios, the actor quoted the tweet with a simple reply, “Who says?”

It’s a simple response which hints that there’s at least a chance that Kingpin could appear on the big screen in a future MCU movie.

The full trailer for Daredevil season 3 was recently released at the ongoing New York Comic Con 2018 event. The series revolves around Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer in the day and a masked vigilante going by the name Daredevil in the night. The story is inspired by writer Frank Miller and artist David Mazzucchelli’s Born Again comic book arc.

Daredevil is our true public enemy,” says Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk in the new Daredevil season 3 trailer.

Fisk, who was imprisoned at the end of season one, will be out of the prison out of prison in the new season and aims at making Matt’s life hell. In the trailer, Fisk claims that the devil of hell’s kitchen, played by Charlie Cox, is New York City’s true villain.

Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock. But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world, or embracing his destiny as a hero,” the show’s official synopsis reads.

Daredevil stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Wilson Bethel, Jay Ali, and Lesley Ann Warren. Season 3 launches on Netflix on October 19, 2018.
