The upcoming DC Universe series, Doom Patrol, is a spinoff set in the same universe as Titans. The show will see the latest live-action version of DC superhero Victor Stone aka Cyborg, played by Jovian Wade. Recently when a fan asked Wade about how he feels the Cyborg suit looks, he replied that he is quite impressed with the suit.
He teased his costume in a post on his Instagram stories. Wade revealed that his Cyborg costume is amazing and he’s amazed at how the costume designer has created such a suit on a television budget. You can check out the post below.
Wade is the latest actor to play Cyborg in live-action form. Actor Ray Fisher portrayed the DC superhero character in both Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League.
The Doom Patrol, dubbed as DC’s strangest superhero team, will soon make their live-action television debut in this week’s episode of DC Universe’s Titans. Each of Doom Patrol’s members suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities but also left them scarred and disfigured.
Titans episode 4, titled “Doom Patrol,” will see Garfield Logan/Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) bring Rachel Roth/Raven (Teagan Croft) to the Doom Patrol as they attempt to help her with her rising darkness. The photos feature Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), Robotman (Brendan Frasier), Negative Man (Matt Bomer), and The Chief (Bruno Bichir).
The upcoming Titans episode will serve as a teaser for a Doom Patrol spin-off series which is set to debut next year on the DC Universe.
“Doom Patrol will find the reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same,” the show’s synopsis read.
