DUNE has finally landed an online release date in India and the Warner Bros. & Legendary Entertainment flick will arrive sooner than expected on Amazon Prime. The sci-fi blockbuster was released simultaneously in theatres as well as on streaming services in the US, due to the studio’s release schedule strategy amid the pandemic.
The world of Arrakis is finally arriving on India’s streaming platform. Though the movie was released to stream on its theatrical release date in the US, it made a brief streaming exit last year in November. Now, Denis Villeneuve’s awe-inspiring epic has already been confirmed to stream via HBO Max on March 10. But since the OTT platform isn’t available in India yet – Warner Bros. has gone the usual route to provide its titles through Prime Video. Similarly, James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad also landed on the same service, as did several other DC films (Wonder Woman 1984, Justice League etc.)
