One of the most anticipated films of the year, Dunkirk is all set to release later this month. The World War II movie has received much hype since the start of its production all thanks to Christopher Nolan.
Recently, Warner Bros. shared two new behind-the-scenes photos from Dunkirk. The images reveal Director Nolan and Kenneth Branagh as Commander Bolton on set.
By the looks of it, Nolan seems to be briefing Branagh during the filming. Fans can check out the set photos below.
Lately, the anticipation for Dunkirk has doubled since it was announced by Variety that the World War II film would be projected on 70mm in 125 theaters. The movie breaks the record of 100 screens set by Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight in 2015.
Unfortunately, it looks like all the hype won’t be helping the film at box office. A tracking estimate from Variety reported that Dunkirk would open at about $40 million.
While Dunkirk has the Nolan fans by its side, the film has lately struggled with its mass promotion due to upcoming releases such Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, War for the Planet of the Apes and Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Valerian would also be releasing in 1000 screens just in India later this month. The Sci-fi film is sure to compete in earnings with Dunkirk.
Directed by Christopher Nolan, Dunkirk hits theaters on 21st July. The World War II film features Tom Hardy as Farrier, Kenneth Branagh as Commander Bolton and Harry Styles as Alex.
The film has also attracted some of the culture vultures thanks to Composer Hans Zimmer. Furthermore, fans also expect to be left awestruck by the visuals thanks to Cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema.
