Fans are pretty much excited to see their favorite Marvel superheroes sharing the big screen space for the first time in Avengers: Infinity War next month. Thanks to a new fans art, we get a glimpse of how the superheroes might look like together.
The post-credits scene from the first Avengers film showed the superheroes having a meal together at a local shawarma restaurant. Now, the longtime fan art illustrator BossLogic shared a fan art which brings that scene back in a big way. The fan art piece called “The Last Shawarma” provides a Marvel twist to Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper” portrait. You can check out Avengers: Infinity War fan art featuring the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and other Marvel superheroes below.
Interestingly, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) can be seen sitting in the place of Jesus in the fan art. Stark’s center position makes sense considering the fact that he was the first character that launched the MCU.
Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) can be seen on the first TV screen on the right-hand side along with Scott Lang. One of Hawkeye’s arrows is hanging the Teamwork poster to the wall that asks the Avengers to save him a seat. On looking at the poster closely, you will also find both Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) standing on Hawkeye’s arrow. There also a cameo by comic book legend, Stan Lee.
The fan art follows the official Infinity War poster which was rolled out by Marvel Studios last week. The poster reflects the sheer massive size of the film in terms of its cast alone. There’s every major character in the poster except for Hawkeye. Fans are also keen to know which of their favorite superheroes will die at the end of the movie as already confirmed by directors Anthony and Joe Russo and Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige.
We will find out more when Avengers: Infinity War lands in theatres on April 27th.
