Ezra Miller appearing at The Flash premiere has fans discussing mental health & actor’s accountability for past behavior: ‘they cant’ get cancelled why should Jonathan Majors’

Ezra Miller‘s long-awaited public appearance took place at The Flash premiere in Los Angeles earlier on Monday and the reaction from fans & the actor’s critics say it all. While they offered an apology for their past behavior in August 2022, their presence on the red carpet has irked many over the failure to hold the star accountable but some have also shown support for their ongoing recovery from mental health issues.

The creators behind DCU’s The Flash were finally able to commemorate the film’s release after overcoming several developmental hurdles alongside PR nightmare from Ezra Miller’s antics. Although the titular star engaged in the limited press, the rest such as director Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti & the cast Ben Affleck, Antje Traue, Michael Shannon, Sasha Calle, Maribel Verdu and composer Benjamin Wallfisch kept the press engaged by taking the spotlight.

Miller was also seen interacting with fans at the premiere event by signing autographs though he appears to only remain for a brief moment in front of the cameras. Finally, after the premiere inside the auditorium -Ezra made a public speech by thanking the maestro – Andy Muschietti and going on to thank the creator of DC Comics’ speedster character, Carmine Infantino.

The actor listed several names including Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder, WBD’s chairpersons Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, its CEO David Zaslav. Most of all, Ezra Miller thanked DC Studios’ “dynamic duo” Peter Safran and James Gunn for their “grace and discernment and care”. Though several insiders like Grace Randolph noted it as a “very business oriented speech” since the aforementioned execs are responsible for bringing The Flash to the big screen whilst dealing with a plethora of roadblocks.

Unfortunately for Ezra, the internet has not been kind as many remarked moments from 2022 when they were arrested in Hawaii. Other instances such as when the Justice League star choked a fan, and allegations of grooming a minor to name some of their unhinged behaviors. Readers can check out reactions below.

Some also compared Miller’s current situation with Jonathan Majors – claiming Hollywood is quick to hold a person of color responsible. Though it should be noted there has been no word yet from Disney/Marvel Studios on the Kang actor’s future. Moreover, the recent development with Tenoch Huerta has piled more trouble for the studio.

The Flash will arrive in theaters on June 15.
