Fan Theories Suggest Ant-Man & The Wasp Will Connect To Infinity War

The latest Ant-Man & The Wasp trailer give fans a glimpse of the two superheroes, Ant-man and the Wasp, in action. The trailer opens with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and his daughter Cassie Lang (Abby Ryder Fortson) discussing the return of the tiny superhero.

“How long have you been Ant-Man again?” Cassie asks Scott to which he replies, “It just sort of happened.”

Notably, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Scott was forced to hang up the suit. He went home to be with his family. The new trailer also offers new glimpses into the Quantum Realm and teases some major connections for the film’s new villain, Ghost, played by Hannah John-Kamen. It also introduces fans to Bill Foster (Laurence Fishburne), who reveals he once partnered with Pym as Goliath. It is likely that Foster will grow into Goliath in the film. The Quantum Realm, which is a completely new universe for Marvel to uncover, was briefly teased in Ant-Man. Rumors are that the Quantum Realm will play a major role in Marvel’s upcoming movies including next year’s Avengers and Captain Marvel.

Fans have already started coming up with their own theories on how Ant-Man & The Wasp connect to Avengers: Infinity War and the 2019’s Avengers 4. It is expected that the upcoming film takes place after Civil War and before or during Avengers: Infinity War.

A Twitter user who goes by the name Sergetacular is of the view that Ant-Man will explore the Quantum Realm, which could have very serious implications for Avengers 4.
