After a month since the official trailer was released for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore, Warner Bros. has shared a series of new hi-res images from the latest flick in the Harry Potter spinoff franchise. Fantastic Beasts 3 will continue from where the second installment ended, with the story exploring Ezra Miller’s character, Credence Barebone, who is revealed to be none other than Aurelius Dumbledore, Albus Dumbledore’s (Jude Law) brother.
Grindelwald’s (Mads Mikkelsen) army of witches seems all set in waging a war against muggles in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore and with Aurelius joining his side, The Wizarding World’s hope falls in the hands of Eddie Redmayne’s Newt and his ragtag team, including cake baking Muggle Jacob (Dan Fogler). The threequel is barely a few weeks from hitting theaters and PursueNews has received 40 new hi-res stills from the blockbuster as the film’s last promotional push nears in.
While most of the images featuring our fan-favorite Wizards is from the recent trailer – the high-quality stills offer a detailed look at the film’s environment like Hogwarts’ during the snow. Furthermore, the images also show Newt’s Fantastic Beasts animals such as Nifflers and Bowtruckles and a closer look at the Crab-like baby manticores. Newt’s brother, Callum Turner’s Theseus appears to be part of the mission the entire journey along with Jessica Williams’ Eulalie. Readers can find the images below.
It remains to be seen if Dumbledore will be on the sidelines for the majority of Fantastic Beasts 3. The trailer revealed a few glimpses of Dumbledore vs. Dumbledore action. Promos so far have shown Newt’s team of Wizards fighting Grindelwald’s followers.
Directed by David Yates from a screenplay scribed by J.K. Rowling & Steve Kloves, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore also stars Alison Sudol, William Nadylam, Victoria Yeates, Poppy Corby-Tuech, Fiona Glascott, Katherine Waterston, Maria Fernanda Cândido, Richard Coyle, Oliver Masucci and Valerie Pachner.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore arrives in theaters on April 14.
