Fight Thanos As A Marvel Hero In Avengers: Infinity War Board Game

There’s some good news for all those who have a deep down desire to become an Avenger or a Marvel superhero and save the world from Marvel Cinematic Universe’s baddie Thanos. Marvel has teamed up with USAopoly to roll out a new board game- Thanos Rising: Avengers: Infinity War.

Thanos Rising: Avengers Infinity War is a collaborative board game where players will recruit themselves as Marvel heroes and assemble as a team to battle against Thanos and his villainous forces. The goal of the players will be to stop Thanos and his villainous team from collecting all six Infinity Stones to power the Infinity Gauntlet. Thanos first appeared in the post-credit scene from 2012’s The Avengers.

The dice and card game is designed for two to four players. The Thanos Rising: Avengers Infinity War board game has 190 total components in total, including six Infinity Stones, 42 cards (heroes, villains, and ships), four deployment tokens (denoting the Avengers, Wakanda, Kamar-Taj, and the Nova Corps.), 17 tooled die, and the game itself, which is comprised of larger cards for the six Infinity Stones and the Infinity Gauntlet.

Gamers will find Iron Man, Captain America, Rocket Raccoon, Black Widow, Black Panther, Hulk, Gamora, and Doctor Strange hero cards in the deck along with some cards denoting villains like Cull Obsidian and an Outrider general. There’s also a 120mm Thanos figurine that will stand tall at the center of the board. Thanos Rising: Avengers Infinity War will retail for $49.95. The board game is expected to hit market shelves sometime in the spring.

Talking about Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel Studios has reportedly preponed the film’s release date. The film, which was previously scheduled to hit theatres on May 4, will now get released on April 27, 2018. Avengers: Infinity War is expected to earn more than $235 million in its opening weekend at the box office.
