First Arrowverse Elseworlds Crossover Promo Shows Green Arrow Kissing Iris West

The first official promo for the highly anticipated Arrowverse crossover event titled Elseworlds is finally out. The crossover event will feature episodes of the live-action television series The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl on The CW.

The newly released promo for  Elseworlds shows a confused Stephen Amell in the role of the Scarlet Speedster. He can be seen locking lips with The Flash’s Iris West Allen, played by Candice Patton. It has already been revealed that the three-night event will see the identity-swapped versions of The Flash and Green Arrow. You can check out the promo below.

This year’s Arrowverse crossover event will see Green Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl visit Gotham City to confront Dr. John Deegan over his work at Arkham Asylum, leading to the introduction of Batwoman played Ruby Rose.

The event will also introduce DC Comics’ The Monitor a.k.a. Mar Novu (LaMonica Garrett), Psycho-Pirate (Bob Frazer) along with Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch). Also making a return in the crossover event is Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman.

Interestingly, Hoechlin’s Superman won’t be wearing the traditional red and blue costume in the crossover event. Instead, he will be seen donning a black and silver Superman costume which is usually associated with the costume that Superman wears after he returned from the dead after getting killed in the hands of Doomsday.

The actor recently shared a new picture of Superman and Lois Lane together on Instagram.

During an interview with TV Insider, Hoechlin revealed about the relationship between Clark and Lois.

“[Superman and Lois] obviously have a very strong relationship that’s been going like that for a while,” the actor said. “It’s deeper into the relationship, so there’s that comfortability factor and they know each other so well. They really kind of have a life together.”

The Arrowverse Elseworlds crossover event will begin with The Flash on Sunday, Dec. 9, and then continue with Arrow on Monday, Dec. 10, and conclude with Supergirl on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
