The Flash Season 4: New BTS Photos Reveals Iris West Transforms Into A [Spoiler]

While The Flash a.k.a Barry Allen is fulfilling his jail time, it seems like Iris West is set to take the lead. In a recently released behind-the-scenes (BTS) photos, Candice Patton’s fan-favorite character was seen in her own superhero suit. And several media outlets are speculating that her new avatar resembles Dr. Light.

New photos from Canadagraphs reveals that The Flash team was shooting Season 4 episode in Coal Harbour area of Vancouver, Canada. In the scene, Patton donned a black and white superhero ensemble.

In the scene, it looks like Iris helps the CCPD catch a criminal, she is seen grabbing the offenders hand and handing him over to the police. We still don’t know much about her alter ego, but it seems one of her strengths as the superhero will be similar to her husband Barry Allen’s super speed.

The details about her transformation are yet to be revealed. It remains unknown whether it’s a temporary change or a permanent one. Several media outlets are wondering if she will be the new speedster in the Central City. At the same time, there is no news about when the scenes featuring Iris in superhero suit will go on air.

Currently, the reaction to the Patton’s character suit up is mixed. Some are excited while the rest of the fans are not interested in seeing the actress don as a superhero in a costume.

Meanwhile, Iris is not the only one developing superpowers in future. The upcoming episode will see Cecile, Joe’s girlfriend develop unexpected powers. As revealed earlier, she will be able to hear people’s thoughts while she is pregnant.

At the same time, The Flash will introduce a new type of meta creating problems in Central City. This metahuman can shrink everything he touches and Cisco and Ralph become his first few victim. Barry continues to fulfill his jail time where he meets someone with a mysterious connection to his father.

The Flash Season 4 episode 12 airs Jan. 30 on The CW.
