Fox Announces Release Dates For 6 Untitled Marvel Comics Based Films

20th Century Fox may not have been as successful as Marvel Studios in making superhero movies. But it looks like the studio’s failure with titles like Fantastic Four hasn’t cornered them into making fewer films in the risky genre.

Recently, the studio made a surprising update to its list of upcoming releases under the X-Men Cinematic Universe. 20th Century Fox announced 6 more untitled movies all scheduled to release from 2019-2021. Here’s the list of release dates below.

Speculations already suggest that X-Force, Gambit and Deadpool 3 are among these untitled announcements. It’s also possible that Fox could green light another X-Men film after Dark Phoenix. Furthermore, the success of the other movies under the universe such as New Mutants could encourage the studio to discuss a possible sequel.

It’s quite exciting to see Fox compete with Marvel Studios and Warner Bros. DCEU. Although it hasn’t been quite successful, its recent title Logan managed to sway the masses and is considered the best R-Rated superhero film.

Fox is expected to thrive with the upcoming Deadpool 2. The studio managed to win over the masses and critics with the original R-Rated film released in 2016.

Deadpool 2 is currently filming in Vancouver, Canada. Recently, several set photos and clips from set hit Twitter and other social platforms. Actor Karan Soni who plays as taxi driver Dopinder was also spotted on set.

Fox is also progressing well with other titles such as X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The main cast and director are currently in Montreal, Canada. It seems the crew has come together to begin filming as several photos revealed the team building sets for the production.

The studio is also expected to release another Fantastic Four film as it could risk losing control over the series to Marvel Studios. Rumors have also suggested that it is already under development.
