Wonder Woman 2 actress Gal Gadot’s surprise visit to a hospital dressed up in her iconic Amazonian warrior princess avatar brought a smile on numerous faces. Taking some time off from the shooting of Wonder Woman 1984, Gadot visited Inova Children’s Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia, to meet her young fans.
Not only the patients, but the hospital staff also got excited by Gadot’s visit. In fact, some of them took to Twitter to share pictures of them posing with the Wonder Woman actress.
“Thank you Gal Gadot for visiting us at Inova Children’s Hospital. You are a true Wonder Woman. The kids loved it…and so did the staff,” Dr. Lucas Colazzo, a cardiac surgeon, tweeted along with a photo of the staff and the actress. You can check out the heartwarming photos below.
The surprise visit took place as Gadot is currently shooting for Wonder Woman 2 in the Virginia and Washington, D.C. area, which is close to Inova. Director Patty Jenkins is back again helming Wonder Woman 1984. She has also co-written the script with The Expendables co-writer Dave Callaham.
Jenkins shared the first look at Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor in the upcoming sequel last month. Pine played Gadot’s love interest in the first film. It seems the answer to the big question of how Trevor survived the plane explosion will keep fans excited until the film’s release.
The director also recently revealed the first look at the film’s main antagonist Kristen Wiig’s Barbara Minerva aka Cheetah. Actor Pedro Pascal is also confirmed to star in the sequel. He is rumored to play a god in disguise similar to David Thewlis’s character from the original film.
Gal Gadot is rumored to showcase a special teaser for the sequel at the San Diego Comic-Con 2018 event next month.
Wonder Woman 1984 is currently set to premiere in theatres on November 1, 2019.
