The craze for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War among fans is so high that some are even ready to skip going to senior prom only to attend the film’s world premiere.

A Reddit user who goes by the name avery7840 recently shared a screenshot of a text conversation between himself and his girlfriend. The girlfriend suggests her boyfriend that they should skip going to senior prom, and go to see the world premiere of Avengers: Infinity War instead.

The Redditor’s post was titled “GF suggested we go see Infinity War instead of her senior prom. Obviously, she’s the best.”  You can check out the screenshot of the text conversation below.

Avengers: Infinity War is undoubtedly the most anticipated movie of the year. Fans are eagerly waiting to see their favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes come together to stop Mad Titan Thanos from collecting all the Infinity Stones- the Soul Stone, the Power Stone, the Reality Stone, the Space Stone, the Mind Stone, and the Time Stone with an aim to rule the universe.

The Avengers started their journey to save the world with six original members- Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye. Avengers: Age of Ultron expanded the number to ten with the inclusion of Vision, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and War Machine. However, after the death of Pietro Maximoff’s Quicksilver in Age of Ultron, the number reduced to nine.

Notably, there are a couple of more new members in the ensemble being added to Avengers: Infinity War roster than the first two movies combined. The new Avengers members include Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Bucky (a.k.a. White Wolf), and Guardians of the Galaxy members Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Mantis, Rocket, and Groot.

Some other MCU characters who will be seen helping the Avengers in their fight to save Earth include Ant-Man, Okoye, Shuri, Nebula, Wong, and M’Baku. The filmmakers have already warned fans that some of the Avengers members will meet their fate in the upcoming movie. We will finally get to know more when Avengers: Infinity War premieres in theatres on April 27th.
