It seems Mark Hamill might end up getting himself a role in Marvels’ upcoming film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, all thanks to one of his Twitter fans. Hamill is popular as Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars film series. He is also known for his voice-over work as the Joker across the DC Animated Universe and the Arkham series of video games.
Recently, a Twitter user who goes by the name Ian Fee asked Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 director James Gunn to find a role for Hamill in his upcoming movie. Surprisingly, Gunn responded back suggesting Hamill come to his place and talk about it.
“I think @HamillHimself lives around the corner from me in Malibu so he can just come over and we can talk about it over a cup of coffee,” Gunn’s tweet read.
Everything became more interesting when Mark Hamill himself joined in on the conversation. He noted that he would be glad to chat with the director and asked Gunn to send him his contact info so that they could discuss things further. The twitter conversation between the two ended when Gunn replied back to Hamill saying he would.
It should be noted that the mere exchange of words on Twitter doesn’t confirm that Mark Hamill will show up in the MCU or Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. But, the twitter conversation has given hopes to Mark’s fans who want the actor to share screen space with the rest of the gang in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Talking about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, it was recently reported that the pre-production work on the third and final film of James Gunn’s trilogy is underway at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia. The film is scheduled to land in theatres in May 2020.

I would be happy to do so, both as a good neighbor & an unemployed actor.
