Actress Jamie Lee Curtis has confirmed that the highly anticipated Halloween sequel will be showcased at Hall H during San Diego Comic-Con 2018 event, which is scheduled to be held later this month.
Curtis chose to break the news on Twitter with a tweet that read, “It’s totally official, HALLOWEEN and I will be at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con! See you in Hall H!”
The tweet is accompanied by a video that features the masked murderer. Curtis confirmed that she will personally be present in Hall H to talk about her upcoming film. Halloween Director David Gordon and cast members Nick Castle and Jude Courtney are also expected to be in attendance. The 59-year-old actress unveiled the film’s trailer at CinemaCon 2018 event in April.

Talking about SDCC’s Hall H, it is where big Hollywood Studios including Disney, Warner Bros, Sony, Universal Pictures, Paramount and 20th Century Fox share big announcements about their future projects and reveal the first look at their upcoming films through a new footage or artwork. It was previously reported that Blumhouse Productions and Universal Pictures will showcase only two films- Glass and Halloween– during their Hall H panel presentation this year.
Talking more about Halloween 2018, the film is a direct sequel to John Carpenter’s original 1978 film. It ignores the continuity of the previous sequels and remakes. The film will see Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode coming face-to-face with Nick Castle’s knife-wielding masked psycho Michael Myers for one final encounter after almost four decades of the fateful Halloween night.
The film will also introduce a slew of new characters including Laurie’s daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Marichak). Laurie will share a strained relationship with her daughter in the upcoming film.
Halloween will open in theaters on Oct. 19, 2018.
