Hilarious fan reaction ensued after Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield met each other at GQ Men of the Year Party

Marvel fans just got to witness their very own “Spider-Men pointing at each other meme” moment in real-life earlier this week when Tom Holland met Andrew Garfield during the GQ Men of the Year 2021 party. Although it still remains unclear if the two stars will be interacting together in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home, their Thursday night interaction is already trending on social media.

Since the new trailer’s debut, several internet theories have some fans convinced Garfield and Holland will share screentime in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Now, Images circulating on Twitter showing the two Spider-Man stars sharing a wholesome moment hugging each other, as candidly caught & shown in the tweet below has fans more excited for what could possibly uncover in the multiverse MCU film. But furthermore, some fans are already hilariously celebrating the two stars’ bond.

So far, rumors floating around suggest Sony & Marvel Studios masked out the inclusion of Toby Maguire & Garfield’s Spider-Man from the new trailer. Furthermore, Jamie Foxx has also hinted at his encounter with the “Spider-Men” as meaning multiple of them in the threequel. Furthermore, one particular rumor also implied the studio may be keeping the big reveal for fans to experience in theatres rather than in promos.

It will be interesting to see how Marvel’s new multiverse narrative could impact MCU Phase 4. Garfield has outright denied any association with Spider-Man: No Way Home. He stated during an interview:

“Listen, I’m not in the film. I love Spider-Man, I always have, I was so happy to have played the part. I’m so excited to see what they do with the third one,” he said. “That’s not the diplomatic answer. I really, really mean it . . . I love Tom Holland, I love [director] Jon Watts, I love [producers] Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige, and what they’ve done with those movies and that character. It’s an important character to me.”

In an optimistic sense, Hollywood is known for making up lies to safeguard its secrets so let’s hope Garfield’s comment could be one of them. In any case, the wait won’t be longer as Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in theatres on December 17th.
