India’s Bangalore Comic-con 2019 highlights: Cosplayers, Birds Of Prey, Wonder Woman 1984, Star Wars & More

Stating Bangalore Comic-con 2019 was a blast might be an understatement. Its official a month since the “#bestweekendoftheyear” took place in Bengaluru and Comic-con India is all set to bring the Delhi edition of the grand 3-day event starting from tomorrow 20 December – 22 December. Here’s a highlight from our exclusive coverage to see what you may have missed.

The 8th edition of the much-talked-about Comic Con Bengaluru 2019 concluded on a yearning note. Attendees were able to experience interesting sessions & panels with American Illustrator Adam Ellis. There was also Bengaluru’s very own standup-comedian Sanjay Manktala to entertain the general audience. But the showstoppers were certainly the cosplayers that were present at the event (16-17 November).

Bengaluru Comic-con 2019 witnessed some of the best cosplayers donning as their favorite Marvel/DC counterparts. Some even brought back memories of classic cartoon shows such as Avatar Airbender, Mask, etc.

Continuing on the second day, fans were seen enthusiastically swarming around the experiential zones; Disney & Marvel (featuring Star Wars & Frozen 2), Sony Pix, AXN Red Live, the Warner Bros India zone (featuring Wonder Woman 1984 and Birds of Prey) and WWE.

WB’s DC zone had new life-size statues of Wonder Woman and Birds of Prey’s Harley Quinn. Moreover, the entire built-up arena provided a bigger presence for both DC titles and amassed a large crowd. Unfortunately, for Marvel fans – An experimental zone for Black Widow movie wasn’t put at BCC 2019.

Legion by Lenovo Gaming Arena especially attracted a huge crowd thanks to gaming titles such as COD, Counter Stike and even PUBG. Though fans in Bengaluru won’t be able to experience it again till next year, the people of Ahmedabad can look forward to their event on 1-2 February.
