Ironheart series’ Mephisto reportedly owns Iron Man’s Avengers Tower, villain to resemble with Netflix’s Lucifer traits, The Hood’s role details revealed

Was it Mephisto (Sacha Baron Cohen) all along? New insider info claims MCU’s Monarch of Evil, who is set to appear in Ironheart, is the actual owner of Avengers Tower. It was long speculated Wilson Fisk would have taken control of the superhero base to turn it into Fisk Tower (Vincent D’Onofrio). But the Daredevil: Born Again star recently addressed the theory though seems to dismiss the idea.

It came to fans’ notice that the Avengers Tower was no longer Tony Stark’s asset in Spider-Man: Homecoming. But since then, Marvel Studios is yet to unveil the new owner with MCU fans speculating if it could be the Fantastic Four’s base led by Reed Richards, or Baxter Tower, Roxxon etc. But according to Cosmic Circus, it was Mephisto that purchased Avengers Tower from Iron Man.

The extra-dimensional demon taking ownership of the Avengers Towers adds up with another breadcrumb information from insider MyTimeToShineHello – who claims Mephisto “in his human form owns a tech company”. Interestingly, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige teased the face-off between Magic and Tech in Ironheart during last year’s D23 panel.

One of the antagonists in Ironheart, The Hood (Anthony Ramos) was described by Feige as a character that “deals in the dark arts, He deals in magic”. However, scooper CanWeGetSomeToast recently claimed The Hood “is stealing tech for Mephisto” in the Disney Plus series starring Dominique Thorne.

Riri Williams being an engineering prodigy with the skill to invent a vibranium detector and also build a Mark I suit on the likes of Iron Man is sure to make her a target. But what kind of technology would The Hood be after? It all seems to connect and goes back to 2011’s Thor when the God of Thunder and Jane interacted on Earth.

“Your ancestors called it magic and you call it Science. Well, I come from a land where they are one and the same.” Considering this statement, it does not come as a surprise the Prince of Darkness would own Avengers Tower and might also show deep interest in Riri’s tech.

Meanwhile, CC also indicates the show will shine a new light on Mephisto by taking notes from Tom Ellis‘ Lucifer adaptation. The two characters have been compared for their Devil-ish nature or better put, for holding the title as a demon lord. Nonetheless, there has been a lot of anticipation for Mephisto’s debut. Cohen also secretly filmed scenes on the Agatha set which led to rumors of a potential Marvel Studios special presentation though it turned out to be false info. The star was apparently shooting pick-ups for Ironheart.

Sadly, it’s a long wait to learn the truth behind the owner of Avengers Tower as Ironheart is expected to release sometime in 2024.
