Deadpool 3‘s buddy-cop titular duos Ryan Reynolds & Hugh Jackman were spotted with Taylor Swift on Sunday at the MetLife Stadium & rumors are already rampant insisting the singer is part of the MCU film as Dazzler. The multiverse threequel is expected to feature various Marvel live-action legacy characters with even scrapped concepts like Channing Tatum‘s Gambit getting their due.
The anticipated third installment for Merc with a Mouth is back on the rumor mill again. This time, the internet is convinced Marvel Studios has managed to get Taylor Swift on board for a cameo. Videos of the Amsterdam star at Travis Kelce’s game have surfaced showing Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy, Jackman and Reynolds walking with Swift’s crew.
While it can be argued Ryan Reynolds’ presence during the game is connected to Blake Lively – a long-time friend of Swift. However, seeing Levy & Jackman with them has prompted speculations from critics too.
Speculations arose in 2019 over a possible cameo for Taylor Swift as Dazzler in Fox’s X-Men: Dark Phoenix. However, the dazzling Alison Blaire was portrayed by Neighbors actress Halston Sage.

Marvel is also on the verge of developing the long-awaited X-Men project under the MCU. So the timing of Taylor Swift’s Dazzler rumor aligns with the speculations. In 2016, Swift’s interest in the Merc with a Mouth character came to notice after she shared a photo wearing the Deadpool costume. Reynolds had lent his outfit to the singer for Halloween. So the idea of the A-list star joining the threequel is plausible.
During its initial phase of films, The Marvel Studios franchise faired well by casting B-list actors whose likability grew after their MCU roles. Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth & Chris Pratt are fine examples with Robert Downey Jr. certainly attracting the most favorable outcome considering his downfall in the early 2000s.
Lately, Marvel Studios have “Swifted” their attention to A-listers. Veteran Producer & MCU chief, Kevin Feige turned heads with the casting Oscar winner Brie Larson for Captain Marvel. SInce then, Disney’s superhero franchise has attracted talents like Mahershala Ali for Blade.
Taylor’s ability to dominate at the box office was clearly noticeable in the early earnings projection for The Eras Tour. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise if Kevin Feige managed to sign on Taylor for a multiple-picture deal. In any case, it is still too soon to tell so fans are urged to await an official confirmation.
If this ain’t proof that Taylor Swift is in Deadpool 3 then I don’t know what is.
