A few days back, actor James McAvoy also confirmed that he has begun filming for IT: Chapter 2. He is portraying the character of adult Bill in the upcoming film.
It is expected that other members of the grown-up Loser’s Club including Bill Hader as Richie, Jay Ryan as Ben, Andy Bean as Stan, James Ransone as Eddie and Isaiah Mustafa as Mike will also join the two actors for the shoot soon. The filming is expected to continue in Toronto throughout the summer.
IT: Chapter 2 will be based on the second part of Stephen King’s 1986 novel “IT”. The film’s story will pick up 27 years after the first film. The Loser’s Club, who successfully defeated the clown Pennywise in the first film, will return back in IT: Chapter 2 to face the demonic clown once again as he dares to kidnap and feast on the children living in Derry.
IT director Andy Muschietti and screenwriter Gary Dauberman are back together for IT: Chapter 2. Bill Skarsgard will be seen reprising his role of the dancing clown Pennywise in the sequel film.
IT: Chapter 2 will head to the theatres on September 6, 2019.
