The Boys season 3 episode 6 promos are keeping fans warmed up on social media with Herogasm getting its own Twitter emoji similar to episode 5’s musical, and the cast & crew Antony Starr, Jack Quaid, Seth Rogen and creator Eric Kripke are also doing their part to promote this week’s release on Prime Video. Their reactions, while slightly biased, still have fans stoked but followers that read the six-issue miniseries by Garth Ennis are terrified of the graphic scenes and nudity this episode will showcase.

Going by social media hype, The Boys season 3 episode 6 is starting to look like an Avengers: Endgame level culmination for the Amazon original series. And fans are already anticipating the worst. Perhaps Hughie and Annie (Erin Moriarty) may have the worst breakup? And maybe Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) and Frenchie’s (Tomer Capone) relationship could face a Titanic-Esque ending? Jensen Ackles’s Soldier Boy seems to be a pivotal part of the massive orgy in season 3 episode 6 with the star also teasing it mortified him as well as the crew that worked on it, even “the director was like ‘I don’t know what I’m shooting anymore.’ Our crew looked traumatized. You can’t unsee it,” said Ackles speaking in a sit down with Vanity Fair. Showrunner Kripke also teased the episode will break fans’ hearts.
It remains to be seen how the events will impact Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and the team’s larger goal to eliminate Vought’s superheroes. Additionally, there are expectations for Rogen to reprise his cameo and newcomer supes too.
The Boys season 3 episode 6 will stream on Friday, June 24 on Prime Video.
