Jeff Goldblum Says He Will Be Happy To Be A Part Of Jurassic World 3

After twenty long years, actor Jeff Goldblum finally made a re-entry into the Jurassic Park franchise with an appearance as Dr. Ian Malcolm in the recently released Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The actor had previously worked in 1993 released Jurassic Park and 1997 released The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

During a recent interview with Collider, when Goldblum was asked if he would like to be a part of the Jurassic World 3, which is already in the making, he said he would be more than happy to make an appearance but only if the film’s script demands.

Who knows? I’m curious about it. If nothing else happened, I’d be entirely satisfied and nourished and lucky and thrilled to have done all of this,” Goldblum said.

The actor admitted that he enjoys working with Jurassic World 3 director Colin Trevorrow and that he would like to work with him again on anything. However, Goldblum said that his appearance in Jurassic World 3 will depend on Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow and Emily Carmichael who are co-writing the film’s script.

“If I can be of any service, that’s my posture and authentic feeling. I’ve kind of nosed around, ’cause I’ve had such a great time, and [Jurassic World 3 director Colin Trevorrow’s] so good,” the actor said. “We did that Jeep commercial, he directed that. He’s awful good. I’d like to work with him more on anything. I can imagine, but it’s up to them. Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow and Emily Carmichael, who I think is writing the script with him.”

Notably, director Colin Trevorrow has already confirmed that Jurassic World 3 will bring an end to the Jurassic World trilogy. The film would be the concluding chapter of the franchise. He also revealed that the upcoming film will be a science thriller in the same way that Jurassic Park was. He added that the upcoming film will not feature any hybrid dinosaurs. It will, in fact, take a back to basics approach in terms of dinosaurs.

Jurassic World 3 is currently set to release on June 11, 2021.
