Jessica Parker Kennedy is all set to make her return in The CW’s The Flash. Fans will remember her from Supergirl’s Crisis of Earth X episode, wherein she was introduced as a mysterious waitress.
In a recent interview with Bustle, the actress confirmed that there is more to her character and she will make a comeback. “I’ll be around,” Kennedy told the aforementioned publication. “You’ll see me at least one more time, I can tell you that.”
Although Kennedy made her first appearance during the Supergirl’s portion of crossover, her next appearance will be in The Flash. Fans who don’t remember, the mysterious waitress had a brief interaction with Barry Allen moments before his wedding. As she congratulated him for the wedding, she said that his wedding would be “one for the ages.”
Since then, fans have been wondering about her true identity. According to the website, there have been speculations suggesting that she could be Barry and Iris’ daughter from the future.
Kennedy refrained from revealing details about her story arc. However, she promises her next appearance will answer some questions related to her character.
“You’ll see me again on the show and things will make more sense,” Kennedy added.
She has reportedly filmed two episodes, one of which was the Supergirl crossover and the second one will air in the second half of The Flash Season 4. Meanwhile, Kennedy revealed that not many on the sets know about her character. She is referred to as “Mystery Girl” by the cast and the crew.
“They have me listed as ‘Mystery Girl’ and I just hang out as Mystery Girl on set. Even [the costume department] are like, ‘Who are you?’ And I’m like: ‘I am Mystery Girl.’ It’s been a very secretive mission and it’s been fun to be a part of,” Kennedy explained.
The Flash returns Jan. 16 on The CW. Read the previous report to find out what happens next when Barry faces the trail for murdering Clifford DeVoe.
