A set of never-seen-before Justice League images have popped up online showcasing DC heroes such Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg, and more. The collection includes official stills, promotional material, and behind-the-scenes photos mostly from Zack Snyder’s cut of the movie.
Snyder is the credited director of Justice League. He exited the film late in the post-production stage voluntarily to deal with the personal matters after the death of his daughter. After Snyder’s exit, a significant portion of Justice League was subjected to rewrites and reshoots by Joss Whedon of Marvel’s The Avengers.
In one of the pictures, Henry Cavill can be seen clean shaven. There are even photos from deleted scenes like Kiersey Clemons’ scene as Iris West outside of the shop. Wonder woman can be seen posing with a group of school girls.
Another BTS photo offers a look at the battered mech suit worn by the Dark Knight in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. A reminder to him of the dangers of hubris. You can check out the new Justice League photos in the gallery below.
Notably, Justice League ended its domestic box office run last week as the lowest-grossing movie of the DC Extended Universe. The film earned a total gross of a little over $229 million. The news is quite disappointing for DC films considering the fact that the film was made on a whopping budget of $300 million.
The low domestic earnings put Justice League over $60 million behind Man of Steel, which is in fourth place, around $100 million behind Suicide Squad in the third place, more than $100 million behind Batman v Superman in the second place, and about $183 million behind DC’s number one film, Wonder Woman, holds a comfortable lead at $412 million.
The theatrical cut of Justice League is currently available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, and DVD.
The upcoming DC Extended Universe movies include Aquaman releasing on December 21, Shazam on April 5, 2019, and the highly anticipated Wonder Woman 2 on November 1, 2019.
