A new Justice League behind-the-scenes video has popped up online on YouTube that shows The Flash saving his love interest Iris West from a fatal car crash. The scene in question is from Zack Synder’s original cut which was not included in the final version of the film.
Kiersey Clemons, who portrayed the character of Iris West in Justice League, can be seen strapped onto a spinning rig in front of a green screen for VFX reference. The behind-the-scenes footage shows how the scene was shot in reality and how it came out with rough CGI effects. You can check out the scene below.
Ever since Justice League was released last year, multiple behind the scenes videos or deleted scenes from the film have been shared by Zack Synder and other actors who worked in the film. Recently, Henry Cavill, who portrayed the character of Clark Kent aka Superman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, took to Instagram to share a behind the scenes video.
The Justice League BTS video showcased him going through the motions of Superman’s flying sequences, as well as dodging attacks from Steppenwolf. The video makes use of both the John Williams Superman theme, as well as Hans Zimmer’s theme which was first introduced in Man of Steel. You can check out Henry Cavill’s video in the post below.
Despite featuring almost all the fan favorite DC superheroes including Batman, Superman, The Flash, Aquaman and Wonder Woman, Justice League turned out to be a box office failure. It concluded its box office run with a worldwide total of $657,924,295.
Notably, Justice League will soon be making its television debut this summer on HBO. The film will premiere on the HBO network on Saturday, July 7 at 8 p.m. ET. It will be also available to stream on HBO GO and HBO Now.
Justice League is currently available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, and DVD.
