Earlier yesterday, the cast of Justice League kick started their promotional press tour in Beijing, China. Thanks to the fan clubs that were present during the press junket, the internet was treated with photos of Henry Cavill and the rest of the team ‘All In’ for the film’s promotion.

During Day 1 of the tour, a new trailer was also premiered for fans. The 1:00-minute trailer is now available for the masses thanks to Warner Bros. UK.

The footage introduces new scenes from the film. It also treats us with a brief dialogue from Steppenwolf. But that’s not the only catch.

At 0:31, it looks like The Batman manages to capture one of the Parademons lurking around in Gotham City. Furthermore, this scene seems to be a direct inspiration from The New 52.

In ‘Justice League Volume 1 Origin, the Batman is shown making contact with a Parademons. Moreover, the Dark Knight also manages to have a brief moment of interrogation with the alien soldier.

It looks like fans can expect a similar scenario in the upcoming Justice League movie as well. Adding to that, it is possible that scene could also make its mention to Darkseid.

In the New 52 comic, The Batman is later tagged along with Hal Jordan’s Green Lantern and together they go in search of the Parademon. But it soon ends as the Parademon goes Kamikaze with a death cry saying, “For Darkseid.” Images from the comics can be found below for comparison.

If fans pause the below trailer at 0:32, it seems like the Parademon goes self-destruct while Batman attempts to interrogate it. The trailer can be found below.

This further confirms that Justice League movie has taken inspiration from The New 52. It would be interesting to see how the new changes such as the return of Superman would blend in with the comic-inspired storyline.

Justice League hits the big screens on November 17^th. Currently, the cast members are engaged in the press tour to promote the film.
