Justice League director Zack Snyder is currently in San Diego right in time for the San Diego Comic-Con 2018 event which kicks off this week.
A Twitter user who goes by the username @jesabelraay recently shared a screenshot of Snyder’s Vero activity that confirms that he has checked into the Hotel del Coronado. The hotel is located mere seven miles away from the San Diego Convention Center, which is the venue for the Comic-Con gathering.

It is likely that Snyder will be in attendance for Warner Bros.’ two-hour Hall H presentation, which will showcase upcoming DC films including Aquaman, Shazam!, and Wonder Woman 1984, as well as other WB projects including Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.
After the Justice League debacle, Snyder has mostly stepped away from the DCEU. But he still retains a producing credit on Aquaman and Wonder Woman 2, among other upcoming DC films. Recently, we also revealed that the director has reportedly gotten a producer credit for The Flash movie as well.
It was in May last year that Snyder decided to step down from his directorial duties on Justice League after his daughter’s sudden demise. As the film was still in its production phase, the film studio tapped in The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron writer-director Joss Whedon to helm the film who reshot a major part of Justice League. Unfortunately, the film flopped at the box office.
Fans now want WB to roll out Snyder’s unseen original cut of the film which they refer to as ‘Snyder Cut.’ They are hoping that Snyder’s presence at the SDCC event might be linked to the unveiling of his Justice League cut. Notably, no evidence of any such plan has surfaced until now.
We will have to wait for the SDCC event to take place to find out if WB has any such ‘Snyder Cut’ in store.
