‘Justice League’ Director Zack Snyder Thanks DC Fans For Supporting The Snyder Cut

It seems DC fans aren’t going to stop pleading Warner Bros. and DC Films to release the Justice League Snyder Cut, which they strongly believe exists. Director Zack Snyder left Justice League abruptly during the production phase after the death of his daughter. The studio then roped in Joss Whedon to complete the film. He reshot a major portion of the film which almost changed some of the film’s scenes and even the ending.

Fans have since been demanding for the release of Snyder’s original Justice League cut which the director often throws light on through his official Vero account.

The director recently took to Vero again to thank fans for continuing their support for his version of the movie. Snyder commented “That is caring” on a photo he shared of an airplane flying with a banner that reads “#ReleaseTheSnyderCut” over Warner Bros. Burbank offices.

The plane with ReleaseTheSnyderCut banner was flown after a charity campaign fundraiser successfully raised nearly $900, matching the cost of the flyover. You can check out the picture below.

2017 released Justice League, which saw the coming together of all fan-favorite DC superheroes including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash, and Cyborg, bombed at the box office. The film grossed less than $230 million domestically, the least of all five DC Extended Universe movies.

The next DCEU film lined up for release is Aquaman, which is the origin story of DC underwater superhero. The film will see the half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry come to war with his brother King Orm, aka Ocean Master, who is all set to rage a war against the surface world.

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

Justice League is on home video now. Aquaman will release in theatres on December 21, 2018.
