As announced, earlier on Sunday, Warner Bros. released the final Justice League trailer titled “Heroes” with 2:55 minutes of runtime. Unlike earlier trailers, the footage doesn’t contain any major plot spoilers but does reveal some interesting details.
A breakdown of the final trailer unveiled few Easter eggs, hints to the film’s backstory and much more. Later on, the film’s official Instagram account also released an alternate version of the trailer with extra scenes from the film. Readers can check out the countdown below but are advised to brace for some minor possible spoilers.
10. The Dream Sequence With Clark Kent

The first scene gives us Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent which is depicted as a dream sequence. But is it really? The scene gives an answer to the question that was supposed to be popped at the end of Batman v Superman. This scene could be hinting a possible happy ending where the Man of Steel marries Lois Lane. A photo shared by The Wrap reporter Umberto Gonzalez also teased the same.
9. Richard Donner’s Superman: The Movie Reference.

The scene also shows Clark Kent wearing a red checks shirt similar to the attire worn by the young Kent from the Classic Superman: The Movie. This is clearly an Easter egg and certainly isn’t the first time we have come across this reference.
8. Parademons Were Once Humans?

A scene from the flashback reveals the Great War/Invasion by Apokoliptians against the forces on Earth (Amazonians, humans and Atlantians). Earlier trailers (check out the last trailer’s breakdown) also showed different angles from the same scene.
At 1:11, fans can spot a Solider transforming into a terrifying creature. This scene could be hinting the repercussions that take place during the attempt to take over the planet. It looks like the mysterious threat seems to have been put into the surface of Earth by Steppenwolf has the power to take over people and transform them into Darkseid’s foot soldiers known as Parademons.
7. Invasion

At 1:14, Diana utters the word, “Invasion”. This subtly hints that the princess of Amazon may already be aware of the Great War/Invasion from the past thanks to bedtime stories from Hippolyta. If so, it also explains why Wonder Woman stands in support with Batman in recruiting other Metahumans as the war in the past was also won by all of Earth’s forces standing together.
6. Parademons Deploying HellSpores?

Earlier teasers and trailers have already revealed that the final showdown will take place in an isolated town. At 1:20, we get a glimpse of the town and hordes of Parademons flying out of a tower. But that’s not all.
A closer look and fans can notice not all of the black spots are Pardemons. It is possible that the tiny black spots are indeed Hellspores, a device used by the Apokolip’s army to take over a world by turning it into a wasteland that just spews fire.
5. Cyborg Needs The Justice League

As mentioned above, Warner Bros. released some extra new scenes in the alternate trailer that was shared on the studios official Instagram accounts. In the footage, one of the scene shows Ray Fisher’s Cyborg hiding his identity by wearing a hoodie jacket.
It seems like Wonder Woman and Batman are trying to recruit Cyborg to face the “greater enemy.” Diana seems to be the one convincing Cyborg and says, “Then maybe you need us.” Perhaps during this scene, Cyborg is still reluctant to accept his new changes or even comprehend them.
4. Still Hung Over The Past Life

Back to the original final trailer, at 1:37, we also get a glimpse of Cyborg being able to look into memories from his recent past. A closer look and fans can spot Victor Stone as a former Metropolis High School football star. It clearly indicates that the character is still lost in the past.
3. The Batman Meets His Match

The final trailer also reveals a scene from the moment when Bruce Wayne meets Arthur Curry. By the looks of it, The Batman seems to have met his match.
For as long as we know, The Batman has been depicted as a superhero that fights alone. But the trailer drops some hints on the heroic Dark Knight and his mission to bring together a team and fight a greater threat.
It looks like bringing the team together would be one of the toughest tasks for the Bat. At 1:36, fans can hear Aquaman say, “The strong man is strong as alone.” to Bruce Wayne to which he says, “That’s not the saying, that’s what the opposite of the saying is.”
Initially, it looks like Aquaman has no interest in fighting together as a team. This is would definitely be an interesting moment for fans to witness as Bruce attempts to persuade him.
2. The new Batman Is Filled With Hope

Another glimpse from the alternate trailer has a moment where Alfred says, “How do you know your team is strong enough?” to which Bruce responds with a simple smile. It shows that the new Batman is restored with hope and is confident than ever before.
1. Goofy Barry Allen Scene… But With An Easter egg?

Screencap from Justice League Heroes Trailer
The trailer ends with a goofy scene where Barry Allen geeks out seeing the Bat signal. At 2:42, fans can notice an Easter egg making reference to Suicide Squad. Ace Chemicals, a famous infrastructure in Gotham City.
Ace Chemicals plant is the place where The Joker and Harley Quinn jumped into, causing their iconic facial changes. In DC Universe, this location is also shown to be closer in proximity to Metropolis.
