The Mera action figure from Justice League has been receiving a lot of attention from fans since its first reveal at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Unlike her skin fit suit from the upcoming Aquaman, the character’s costume in JL has been designed to look more defensive and suitable for battle.
Recently, A Justice League merchandise revealed a new look at Amber Heard as Mera in the battle armor. The new promotional image looks brighter, bringing out the suit’s aesthetic details. Fans can check it out below.
Earlier, fans got their first look at Mera’s costume from Justice League via an official photo shared by the studio (featured above). Unfortunately, the photo received from some fans and the media for its dull contrast. Later, the masses got another glimpse of the costume in Justice League trailer 2.
Fortunately, the new Mera costume created for Aquaman was able to get its approval from the masses on the first impression. The fish scaled suit was designed to look skin fit and looks more appealing thanks to Heard’s fit physical structure.
In Justice League, it looks like Zack Snyder decided to create a suit that is battle ready similar to Momoa’s Aquaman. In any case, the new image proves that Mera’s Atlantian queen features are not lost in the battle armor worn in the upcoming DC film.
Justice League hits theatres on November 17th, 2017. Later, fans can catch Mera in action in the upcoming Aquaman.
Directed by James Wan, Aquaman is currently in production in Australia. Recently, fans also got a look at the new set in construction to portray The Curry Lighthouse.
