Warner Bros. ambitious superhero team-up movie Justice League is all set to be released on digital HD on Tuesday, January 30, 2018.
DCEU had high expectations from Justice League, which premiered in November 2017. Unfortunately, the film was greatly panned by critics, thereby struggling at the box office.
Warner Bros. decided to pull the film out of theaters last month. Even though DCEU’s future at this point hangs in the air, the studio is going ahead with a lineup of projects.
There is usually a 90-day window between the time a movie releases in theaters and when it’s made available on home video. However, for Justice League fans, the wait will be much shorter as the film is all set to release on digital HD later this month, according to iTunes.
Ever since the release of the film, there have been talks of various scenes being deleted from the film after Zack Snyder stepped down, following the tragic loss of his daughter. Various scenes were re-shot and many were left at the editor’s table after Joss Whedon took over.
The DC fan base are desperate to watch Snyder’s original vision of Justice League and also launched a petition on Change.org, demanding the release of Snyder’s cut of JL on Blu-ray. It’s only a matter of time when we will know what all additional content will be included on the Blu-ray.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Momoa as Aquaman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman Ezra Miller as The Flash, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, , Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Jason Amber Heard as Mera, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, J.K. Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, and Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta.
