Justice League Supervillain Ciaran Hinds Has Not Met Cast Yet

Earlier yesterday, fans got their first look at Steppenwolf’s armor from Justice League via a new merchandise made for the film. While the toy was indeed a perfect tease, its facial figure didn’t seem to resemble Ciaran Hinds.

For those unaware, Hinds plays the character Steppenwolf in Justice League. The actor revealed in an earlier interview that he filmed his scenes wearing motion capture suit.

Recently, Hinds spoke about playing as Steppenwolf with BBC’s Michael Ball Show. The interview scoop was found thanks to a reddit user which revealed the actor sharing his experience of filming the character in Justice League.

Surprisingly, Hinds revealed that he never go to interact with the main cast of Justice League. While the actor did his part by lending his voice and facial expression for the character, he didn’t get the chance to share the screen and exchange dialogues on set with the main actors. Here’s what he said (via: Screen Rant).

“No, I don’t know whether they’re all afraid to come and meet me– no, no they weren’t, really. Because it’s imaginary, you do it with green screen… That was another challenge, you could say, yeah. But it was quite fun. And they’re very encouraging in what you do, suggesting ‘Over here, look over there, imagine that, do this here, they’re coming at you now.”

It would have been indeed been a difficult task for Hinds to record dialogues without the presence of the character. But going by his comment, it would definitely be intriguing to see confronting scenes involving Steppenwolf the Justice League.

Hopefully, fans get to see their first look at Hinds as the supervillain in the next Justice League trailer which is expected to screened at SDCC 2017.
